Ultreia Saint Jacques 2021 is a smooth red wine with aromas of fresh red fruit accompanied by notes of strawberry caramel and dairy notes. On the palate it is direct, juicy and elegant. A wine with vibrant acidity, fine tannins and a long, pleasant finish.
It is the most affordable wine in the range, Ultreia Saint Jacques is a wine made from 100% very old vineyards on clay-calcareous soils. They are cultivated respectfully and harvested manually. Once they reach the winery, the grapes ferment in truncated wooden tanks of 3,000 and 5,000 liters without temperature control and with long macerations. The wine is then aged in barrels and used truncated cone-shaped tanks. Finally, it is bottled without filtering or clarifying.
