Louro is the initial wine, from the Rafael Palacios winery in A Rua (Ourense) and the little brother of the acclaimed As Sortes. Like the other, it is made with grapes from old vines (up to 40 years old) grown in the Val do Bibei, at altitude (almost 700 meters), using organic principles and traditional farming techniques that preserve the old terraces and avoid the use of herbicides.

The result is a well-ripened, intense wine with fantastic acidity that allows it to flow elegantly despite its high alcohol content. It combines strength with balance, showing itself to be noble and concentrated, mature but not excessive; Expressive and aromatic from a young age, but also eager to continue growing in the bottle.
