Prima is intense, liqueur-filled, warm, and approachable. It coats the entire palate with abundant tannins, which doesn't mean it's an aggressive wine; quite the contrary: the goal was to create a stylized wine with a succulent palate, rather than a muscular one (we can also observe this from its medium transparency). It's aromatic and juicy, even floral, with delicate dairy notes that round out a finely wrinkled, almost earthy palate, in which, after each sip, balsamic aromas of forest, bay leaf, and dried thyme resonate. The influence of the Garnacha adds dynamism and refines the overall tannins, enhancing Prima's more direct and fruity profile.
